An amazing water repelant treatment.
I can imagine a lot of great uses I would have for this stuff

I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

Holy moley that looks like amazing stuff. That glass frame clip was so cool!

Looks like you can buy it at

Pricey but it looks very useful!

I feel like that stuff has 'carcinogen' written all over it.

That's awesome!  Using it for the windshield was the first thing that came to my mind.  I love using Rain-X.  I imagine that one day all siding material, roofs, decks, etc. will be coated in this type of stuff.  Wonder if it's breathable.  It wouldn't make sense to put it on clothing if it isn't.

Cancer cells are made of water, oils, proteins and lipids.  They should be repelled. ;)

You wouldn't want it on the bottom of your yak.  You need the water pressure to displace your (and your yak's) weight.  This stuff looks so good, the water may never contact the hull. Therefore you would sink like a rock enveloped in a thin layer of air. ;D  Buyer beware.

These are just untested theories of mine, though.  ;)

Wonder how long it lasts once applied.

Would be a funny prank to apply that to a new diaper and load junior up on some juice.   >:D

The water doesn't need to contact the hull for there to be displacement.  It's still getting displaced.

Yes, you are right but...I deny your laws of physics and substitute my own. ;)

But to get back on topic, if this stuff also had UV inhibitors (maybe it does and I missed it), I could think of a lot of stuff I would apply this too.  Especially if it was relatively heat resistant.  The first thing I would spray would be my trailer.  It would be nice to have the salt water run right off.  The soft top of a vehicle would be great, too.  Although, at $2 a square foot, it could start getting expensive.

Why does your physics need your metal trailer to be UV resistant?   ;)

Wonder how it would do if applied to the entire paddle blade.  Maybe less water running into the lap?  :-\
