Looking into getting a sail to make jaunts in The Gorge. I'm suffering from Goldilocks Syndrome (not too big, not too small - just right). What do you suggest? Links? Preferences? Doesn't have to be something specific for the Hobie but that's what it'll go on. Thanks in advance.

I have decided to try a Bic Sports Sail on my PA12 but I will not have a report on it until June   :(  ....I decided to try this sail due to cost ($79), size (not too big, not too small), works with some off-angle wind, and because it folds easy (there is a trick to get the final fold to work but once you have that, easy peasy) and it will store on top of the forward hold.  There are some youtube videos of them being used.

True,

We have a demo hobie sail at Next Adventure you can take out if you want to give it a try.

I'd like to get a sail for my outback but I think I want to get the AMAs first.

True,

The Hobie sail is 1.85 meters square if that helps. Not sure if you could rig an old windsurfing sail and mast to work but that might save you some money. Feel free to come into the Kayak Shed when you are in town to check one out.
