Ok...I am really only proud of this video because she was really tasty, but look how things can go wrong. I was actually finishing up for the evening and had already put my net down when she hit. I wasn't expecting to get bit that fast and wasn't really paying much attention(notice me singing with my Iphone). After that, my reel gets stuck in the net. Still good times in Portland!

You seem so casual about catching that fish. Thanks for the video update! I can't wait to get my first Chinook from my kayak. I doubt I'll be that composed.  :D

Obviously not your first one.  If it wasn't for the title, your demeanor would have led me to believe you were landing something much less exciting than a springer!

Great job!!

Nice nookie.

Hey, how much of an extension do you have for your video mount.  Can you take a pic of it?  I'm still playing around with a good position and kind of like the angle you got.

Nice show! I'm wanting to know about your camera mount as well.  Trying to figure out how I want to mount 1 or 2 on mine.

Thanks for your replies. I'll get some pics soon of the mount. It's just homemade from an extra aluminum fishing net handle on a Ram mount.

Great fish, even cooler video!!! Can I ask where you were fishing ?? Using bait or hardware? I really like to get another this spring just trying to figure where and how to adjust my methods now that it is later in the season

I love the way that king just sort of 'hung out' politely by the kayak waiting for the net to scoop it up.   Great video.

Nice Jammer.  You keep on making videos like that and we are going to see you catching fish on TV soon.  Wait, we've already seen that.

That was great Michael. I had a laugh watching you extend your net while hanging onto the rod---I did exactly the same thing on my first yak caught spring last year but then i noticed i had a big rent in the mesh of the net. I ended up using the gaff to get it in.

You are one lucky guy. Looks like you were heading to the ramp to go home. Just giving it one last try when a springer says"oh shrimp cocktail served by Jammer and I get to be in a cool video." Hopefully I'll get out on the water soon.
