.... I figured I'd break this off on a new topic.
Guys have been talking about excessive foot sweat soaking their feet in a dry suit.
I don't experience this in my dry suit but I do wear rubber boots every day at work and nothing generated foot sweat like waterproof boots. Technically my boots are neoprene but that really doesn't mater.

My solution to wet feet is a product called 'Bama Socks' they are a blue over sock that I wear over my light wool socks. They draw sweat through the socks and keep my feet dry. Every night they are soaked when I take my boots off. I let them air dry over night and they are good to go the next day.

Sweet! Thank you very much, I'll certainly give that a try. Do order the same size shoe you usually wear or one size up?

I use the same size as my shoe. They are bulky so fit under a dive bootie might be tough ...
But I swear by them!

I don't normally have this problem because once it's hot enough to start seating, I don't where waders/drytop anymore.  (i don't fish the salt much)

Great, thanks!

It's usually when traveling to the fishing spot. Then you stop moving and it's 40 degrees again and your feet are now wet.

I can back up the bama sock claim, too; I've been wearing steel-toe rubber boots on project sites & I never wear them without the bamas.

iffin' the old trench foot does set in...
forget the gels and creams at the store like lotramin etc.
A good 20 minute soaking in plain old cider vinegar will kill the fungus.
