Just in time for the ORC (Oregon Rockfish Classic), June's NWKA and Next Adventure "kayak fishery of the month" meeting will be all about getting out on in the ocean for rockfish and lingcod.

Next Adventure Paddle Sports Center

Tuesday, June 18th, 7 pm  ( a week from tonight)

We'll talk about fishing techniques, regulations, tackle and rigging.    However, a good portion of that discussion is going to be about safety.    Come with your questions and there should be plenty of salty members there to help answer them for you.

I usually follow up our monthly meetings with an on the water meetup.   I'm not sure how we'll handle this given the unpredictable nature of marine forecasts.   We might opt for a safety clinic at a local lake or we might just consider the ORC our on the water tie in.
