This isn't much of a discussion on kayak design and selection; rather, it's an admittance and confession. Yesterday allowed me the pleasure of hanging out with Broseidon himself. He rose from his watery kingdom to enlighten me on the wonders of Mirage drives and sailing rudders. He anointed me with turbo fins and live wells. He showed me the joys of propelling oneself forward whilst clutching both a beer and a fishing rod.

Thank you, Broseidon. I am no longer destined to a future of Greenland paddles and Seattle sombreros. I now "get" pedal power. And I like it.  I crave it. I want to mainline an Outback, though I am Revo-curious. This could be a lifestyle change.

I got all up on a PA12, too. Stubby, wide, and handsome. I wish it had a glitter gel coat, though. The long and lean...in this case, I like it.  ALT+TABbing between a spreadsheet and the Adventure specs.

Then the Sport must be on the radar. With the extra weight capacity of that sweet little dinghy, a chumster could bring aboard at least two Natty-Ice barley pops. (if trout retention is not intended, and bladder is empty during original departure)
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

Ah but you forget Mr. AJ has a propensity to enjoy the finer things in life. A kayak should be long and narrow, with good glide. It should respond to your body lean and track straight.
A floating bathtub requires no skill and is reserved for those who choose not to devote the time and attention to personal improvement.

The difference between an electric fillet knife and true hand honed fillet knife.

I may enjoy the finer things, but Broseidon and I drank Budweiser and Tecate on the Willamette River. I am open to a wide spectrum of experiences.  Perhaps even a compromise of lanky and girthy.

How are Natural Ice and GameCube considered "the finer things in life"? LOL

I think you're right, the adventure would be a sweet glide. My money is probably on the Revo though - best utility. Since the Jade deals with spreadsheets, concerned about optimizations and such, I would guess that he ends up with the best of all worlds in one 13'5" roto-molded phallus. But which color...

I suppose there is always a time for a pontoon boat on Hagg ....

Even a southern gentleman who sips 20 year old scotch and smokes $15 cigars still watches NASCAR ....

I've heard this banter before.  You sound like the morning star.  The hand-liner. The nameless one.

The PA's lack of cup holders disturbed me.  One does not simply leave a beer unattended amongst the douche-boat wakes of Hagg.

Yeah, I resent that. Plenty of Outback owners have great skills, as well as focus on personal improvement. You're just an Outback hater, which is fine, but don't generalize like that. That's just plain ignorance.

Lol ... I am an Outback hater.
I also enjoy ruffling feathers. Relax RR I do not think less of you for your Outback or propensity to fish in your tighty whities.
