Sweet. I never caught variety like that when I lived in OS! I could from my kayak at the submerged jetty but not from shore.

I had better luck at Roosevelt  beach for surf perch.

I should have been in my yak. The ocean and weather was beautiful today. The spot is a work out to get to, but produces every time. I'm right on the cliff face. Tide timing is important. lingcod and cabby's are there to. I caught an undersized cabby today as well.

Nice lineup.  The perch looks big.

I have caught a lot of perch here, that is the biggest Sun Perch I have ever caught, it was a pig and delicious. All fish were made into tacos 30 minutes ago.
Thanks

   Hey Keelhaul,
That is a nice variety of fish you got there. It's great when you get a day like that.

Are you saying you caught those fish in Ocean Shores, Washington ?
I ask because I have fished Ocean Shores a lot and can not think of any cliffs in that town. Not trying to steal any (secret) spot but I wonder if you could/would be a bit more specific about where you had such a catch ? You really have my curiosity up.

Or --were you just fishing from shore somewhere on the ocean ?

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Mark; It was not Ocean Shores Washington. Here in Oregon. My family had a cabin for years in Ocean Shores all sand dune that I can remember there. I was fishing the beach line around structures. I seem to have good days in this area. Due to the location and the tide timing it is not fished by a lot of people and not known by many. Its to much work for some to traverse the area. To me though it is worth it.
Thanks
