Hello all, I've been to several gatherings of NWKA over the last few years and have met several of you.  Been distracted with simple things like work and a few other unrelated passions in my spare time, but am just finishing up outfitting my Hobie and need a few pointers on mounting the transducer.  I have suggestions to Marine goop it to the hull, or to make a foam well and suspend it in water when using.  Anyone have a better result with one or the other methods?
Looking forward to joining in the fun on the river with all of you experts this spring.
thanks, Bill

Hello Jammer, yep been a while. found a lot of good info on the transducer once the forum opened up.  Like I said, work and play a lot but fishings on the horizon for me.  I'd like to chase the kokanie in March/April and really am looking to getting out on the river too. I live about 5 minutes from the Willamette landing in Canby.  spent some time on the Molalla chasin steelies.  I fly fished the lower Dechutes a lot in the 1990's.
See ya on the water
