WOW! I'm gonna have to make a midweek trip. Let us know when you're planning B. I'll see what I can do to get down there.

Z,

From what I understand, Wed's are tribal gill netting days so their out.  I'm thinking a Tuesday before the gillnetting would be best.

Next Tuesday huh? I'll try and get a few projects done so I can clear that time and get to some WAF building.

I might be up for that also.  I'm heading in that direction and the timing may workout perfectly.

Z and Jesse,

Next Tuesday (Apr 29th) will probably work for me as well.  The Tuesday after that (May 6th)  I have a friend in town for a Fisheries meeting and I'll probably try get him to sneak away to drano with me then as well.

In general, I'd kind of like to go early.  But I'm only an hour away so I'll leave it to the WA guys to come up with a plan on when to meet.

I would like to go early as well.  I'm heading toward CA and will want to get some good hours on the road after we're done.

The reports from Drano on IFish are pretty dismal right now.  1 fish for 40 boats, 1 fish for 100+ boats. etc..

http://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?p=1977643

It seems the water is still very cold and the IFish members are starting to wonder if this means they are just late or whether they just aren't coming.

I'll let you know if things seem to be improving.   Then again, maybe this is just subterfuge and it's really hot and they're trying to scare people away.

I'll keep my fingers crossed. It's cold and raining right now, with a little hail thrown in from time to time for variety. Hopefully the forecast holds, and things improve this weekend. I'm going to plan on being there early Tuesday morning. If nothing else it will be a good excuse to get in a boat.

Cold and rainy sounds familiar!

I was going to brave it today but decided I would stay local due to weather.  Sounds like I made the right choice.  3 hours on Lacamas Lake was cold enough with nothing to show for it.  I'm not sure I'm made up for all this cold April fishing.  My hands don't last long when it's raining and mid 40's!

Unless they are running when I get back from business trip in mid May I think my springer dream may remain a dream this year  :-\
