Yeah, this was on my mind in the "where to buy a Hobie" discussion, and talk of the "deals" where you get a discount on accessories if you buy a boat during the "sales event". Kayak Shed has this in place 365, and you don't have to buy a boat to get it.

Exactly what I've found while pondering where to buy a new Outback this month.  A 15% credit wouldn't be much of an incentive when we can get the Kayak Shed discount 365.

as far as I know, the 'fishon' 15% off is not on kayaks but can apply to Hobie accessories.  For example, I ordered a sailing rudder for my i11s and the 15% off worked...roger

Yes, I realize that.  What I was trying to say is that if company X offered me 15% off (or a 15% credit) Hobie accessories if I bought a new Outback (at full price) it wouldn't be an incentive at all because I can already get the same deal from Kayak Shed whether or not I purchase a new kayak.  All else being equal, I probably would buy from Kayak Shed.
