Hello.
After seeing a person on a kayak hook and play a sturgeon I decided I had to try kayak fishing.  I have recently sold my power boat, so I figure this is the perfect time to try kayak fishing.  My wife and I have tried out various paddle kayaks and finally Hobie mirage drive kayaks this last weekend.  We have decided that we need an Outback and Revolution 13 (for us)along with 2 paddle kayaks (for our teenage boys >:D).

Now the fun part purchasing the kayaks; the outback is going to be rigged for fishing river, lake and ocean.  Any advice that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I will be fishing the Willamette mostly.
My job has me working north of Seattle until October, I am hoping to be able to troll for pinks in Puget Sound in the evenings in August.

Welcome! Great kayak choices. Now the fun begins. Customizations!
Oh, and sturgeon fishing from a kayak is WAY more fun than from a powerboat.

Your going to love it!  I have almost the same setup and I love being able to go between the Hobie's peddle crafts and the Cobra Fish N Dives.  They both have there own benfits.   8)

I really enjoy having both the Revo and the Outback. You have the best of both worlds.
