I want to introduce myself to the group and by doing so get to know some of you better.
I grow up back east fishing for lots of bass and doing lots of fly fishing. I bought my fist kayak (revo 13) last year and am enjoying the new challenge of kayak fishing and I’m getting some great ideas from seeing other kayak set up.

Some other activity’s I enjoy are: hunting, biking, and sports in general. One thing I do that my wife thinks in strange is I play MTG.

As you can see from the privies mention of my wife, I’m married and have 3 kids, 2 boys (6 and 4), and 1 girl (2), and one more due in September.

I have a lot to learn about fishing in the great northwest and am looking forward to the coming experiences, and meeting you all.

Good luck fishing.

Brian E.

Welcome!  I grew up back east too (upstate NY and near Philly).  Congrats on the family too.  My Thing 4 was just born back in March.

Tons of great fishin out here.  You just missed the chance to go to the Oregon Rockfish Classic, our annual party/tournament out in Depoe Bay.  But there's other events throughout the year.  Hope to see you at one.

Brian forgot to mention that he's a long time lurker. And whenever I'm complaining about my friend that catches more fish than I, I'm referring to him. (not very often though)

SumpNZ - He actually was at the ORC this year; he was the guy with the Broncos hat.

Welcome Brian, it's about time you actually post.  ;D
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.
