That guy is a bad ass. If the water is 80 degrees and i had spent my entire life around the ocean I wouldn't worry about a PFD either.

If you look closely he got pulled overboard, probably by a large fish he had just hit with the kage.

BTW, Chris? Be careful how you talk about your elders. Besides being one of the leaders of the AquaHunters site, he's also one of the best fishermen in the state. Several of us here owe that man hugely for his generosity and guidance.

I don't understand what you're saying. My elder? I think he is a badass! I wasn't talking bad about him. I realize those  waters are a lot warmer than what we have here. I was merely saving keystrokes for any safety police that wanted to chime in on this thread.

No discussing the wearing of or lack thereof of a PFD.  Like all things, there are times you wear them, times you don't, and a whole bunch of times that fall in that gray zone that just aren't worth discussing.  Knowing when you personally should wear one, or not, is a whole helluva lot more important that discussing when other should or shouldn't.

I agree with Allen on this one. This guy is a god among men. When he gets huli'd he doesn't get wet, the water gets Isaac Brumaghim-ed.

I'm not trying to start any internet fights...I save that for Facebook pages like 'breast feeding in public' . I will argue to the death with proud, breast feeding single moms that have nothing better to do but bitch about 'the hardest job in the world' . I have found you can cause quite a commotion with single moms suffering from post partum depression...just say something like 'the hardest job in the world isn't done in sweat pants.' And wait for the hailstorm to come raining down.

Maybe I have too much time on my hands? Seems like it would be better time spent fishing.

Anyway...like I said I'm not trying to start any kind of argument. I mostly just want to get along. I thought this guy was a badass and his new trailer has me stoked and I just wanted to share.
