I've been watching MSW daily for a few months now and it seems to do that for 8-10 days out, and then as it gets closer it gets a bit more realistic. If it lays down as nicely as it looks right now I'll be there! :)

Just a few months? :P

Fingers crossed! It's flat, but windy that day, hopefully it will continue to improve. I'm trying to make AOTD but if not I may be tempted...

Can I come play? I'm going to be in the area Thursday night and Friday on way my back from Idaho. It would be sweet to get a taste of PC before I head back to the bay and fish the AOTD tourney on Saturday.

Noah, yes I know that the wind may be an issue. If you don't go to the AOTD shoot me a PM.

My wife and I were going to head down south for AOTD but her shift changed so we're going to be fishing up here instead, hoping for at least a day trip depending on schedule and conditions.

It would be fun to meet up with you guys out there, especially if the conditions are nice. I guess we'll see how it shapes up.

Ling ling, you should show up - it'd be nice to meet you!

I'll be in Lincoln City Friday through Tuesday that first week in August if anyone's going to be making plans. I can hit PC or Depoe Bay any (all?) of those days in the morning.

That damned, 2013 ORC has ruined me...

Just to update here (in parallel with other Fred thread... heh heh): I'll be launching off Cape Kiwanda Saturday morning, and hoping/expecting to get an evening session in too (unless I limit in the morning of course :) ).

Sunday is a maybe, I'll be around but might try out something else.

Bring the salmon gear.  Coho is closed but still lots of chinook around PC.  Hooked 4 salmon yesterday and finally got my first kayak chinook.  Lost another nook earlier at the yak with the ball weight getting stuck in the net.  Kept a nice coho as well. good luck!

Sweet! Oh, I AM bringing my salmon gear! I bought some larger cannonball weights and a Delta Diver. I also have a couple of downriggers, but I'm going to try those at the Humpy Classic. Did they hit herring or a Hoochie?
