Interesting that the hosts have ability and physicality requirements, too.... ( see links)

I was wondering about that too.  It'd be nice if they would tell you the required skills....I'd be pissed if you get there and they don't let you fish.  Safety is good, but what should you be able to do?
No matter how many times the PB's tell me I'm nuts....I still smile every time I out fish them

Most trips of any kind that have some sort of physical activity involved have these clauses.  The discussion of what it means is best left for between you and them.  I don't work for them, so I shouldn't say.

I will tell you what I experienced so you have some idea.  Some days we paddled up to 10 miles, others only a few.  Keep in mind this is in the tropical heat.  Even the 10 mile days wasn't necessary.  I was stubborn and paddled it (because I could).  We did have some wind and swell, but nothing one wouldn't go out in in the PNW.

If anyone is semi-serious about this and wants to get on an email trail with more info, let me know.

I might be interested if the dates are right.  Need more details

Check the link I posted.  Details are there.  Let me know if you have further questions.

Costs will in the $2K-ish range depending on number of people and number of days.

Any particular dates work for you?  We're trying to avoid October and most of November, because that is the heart of the rainy season.  Although personally I like the rainy season in Central America.  It only rains for a couple hours in mid afternoon, but those 2 hours are like something you've never seen.  Fishing can be lights out in the rainy season too.

I'm assuming the 2Kish is without airfare?  If so, I checked flights from ANC to Panama City....cheaper than flying to see my family at Christmas.  I'll be able to cash in some miles for that one.

Mid to late September work better for me.  I can try and shoot a bear and caribou before or after that trip.

Do you need a Visa to get into Panama?

Sorry Kenai, didn't see this post.

2K is without airfare.  No Visa needed for Panama, but of course you need a passport.
