Family health issues including my own are at the core of my decision to sell all yaks, etc. My wife was the person to introduce me to a SOT 10 yrs ago and when she fell off a ladder 3 yrs ago life changed in a New York split second. I have Meniere's Disease which up until the last year has not kept me off the water. Things change :'(.
You guys have all been great and it was a pleasure to fish and yak with a bunch of you. Wanted to post on this site 1st before Craig's List.  Hope that gets the question of selling my bling out of the way. IT HURTS. Now, to get us both on the water we have a 20'Duckworth. I promise to respect and help any yakker on the water and will still stay on the site.

Rich - sorry to hear about the health issues getting worse.  If I had the scratch I'd buy up your stuff.  It was a pleasure fishing with you, and I still really appreciate your willingness to help me out on my maiden kayak voyage.  Best of luck, and hope to see you around here, and occasionally at Cabelas (you were out fishing a few weeks ago when I was last in there).

Rich, sorry to hear of the health issues.  I completely understand your need to sell and fully respect your move to the Duckworth to continue to enjoy the water around.  Duckworths are great boats!

Health issues suck. I am glad to see that you have found a way for both of you to stay on the water.

Hope to see you out there!

Dang Rich, sorry to hear you're out of the yakking game!  I am glad to hear that you have a back-up plan though.  I hope to see you on the water one of these days.
