+1. I have never fished for chum nor have fished Oakland bay.  Would love any info.
Anchovy under a bobber has worked well at Oakland Bay for Chum.

Here's one way.  Green/chartuese headed purple jigs also.
Big hooks on jigs - barbless.

Ok, we need to get a head count. We truly apologize for having to move the date again.
We are moving the SlayRide to Sunday November 10. It will still be at Oakland Bay, Shelton WA.

I'm In.  Rumor has it fish are already starting to show up in Oakland Bay... and theres a slim chance of seeing sturgeon jumping in the clam beds too... ;)

Any details on where the event is being held-launch site, camping, etc.,  looking forward to catching my first yak chum (and maybe another kayak??? :D

The Launch and weigh-in location will be at the WDFW access site just North of the Shelton Bayshore Golf Course.  It is 3.8 miles North of Shelton on Highway 3.

Start time will be at 8:00 AM and weigh-in closes at 3:00 PM.
