So, how are saltwater perch counted?  Panfish or Rockfish?

How about stripers?  They're neither small or largemouth.

Mountain whitefish?

Kokanee?

Just thinking about everything I fish for.  Where's the dungeness category!

Saltwater perch ... no category.
Stripers ... no category.
Whitefish ... no category.
Kokanee ... technically salmon I suppose.

Sorry, we'll shuffle things around next year now that the guys have a better idea of what is on the list.

So, where are you targeting stripers in your neck of the weeks.  I love striper fishing. I was supposed to fish the striper tournament at Lake Mendocino, but sprained my angle right before the weekend and had to bail.

 >:D Gotta love the points-per-inch! Can't wait to find the 14-15" monsters I saw last year.

The tough part for me is going to be the salt water species. $4.00/gallon is putting the hurt on. :'(

Congrats to the temporary leader >:D  But it sounds like you will have a shot at Springers on the upper Columbia- if they ever get there.  Way to go with the perch by the way- I'm sorta glad you do live wayy over there--at least gives me half a chance :D :D

My buddy and I are planning a trip to the Umpqua this summer but we get them here off the beach while surf perch fishing occasionally.  We've talked about coming in just outside the surfzone and casting into them.  They chase the spawners in to feed on the live birth perch fry.
