An important note I wanted to mention for tomorrow.  All but the last ~150 yds. of the Gilbert River is off limits to retention tomorrow.

Quote from: Willamette Zone Regulation Changes
Willamette River downstream of Willamette Falls including the Multnomah Channel and Gilbert River. The Sauvie Island Wildlife Area (SIWA) is closed in all areas October 1, 2013-December 31, 2013 under permanent regulations. The SIWA includes the Gilbert River, except the area downstream of the transient moorage to the mouth (~150 yards) and the Disabled Person fishing pier near the mouth remain open.

Shoot!  I got to get back down there tonight and untie that keeper and move him further downstream I guess.  So much for a good night's sleep.

For some reason, I kind of missed the tournament info on the website. I got me some special needs.
I did get out today at the crack of 10:00am and found a private stock of fish. This 45" was the first keeper, so it got the ax to the gills, so to speak. I hope somebody in a kayak gets one of the 50+ fish I released later. Good luck everybody and what a perfect day.
