I have a pesacador 12. Im building a platform to mount my fishfinder gps and camera too. Using the scupperhholes. And pvc pipe with a small piece of lexan.  . So i read that the scupper holes worked perfect with 1 1/4 outer diameter pipe. I went ahead and checked it. 1 3\16. I tried a 1 1/4 TOO TIGHT. anybody have a lead on pipe with that outer  diameter.  I cant find nothing, except flexi pipe. Worthless for this application.  Or even a solution.  All i can think of is sanding the. Inch quart pipe down  .  Let me know what u did or any ideas, thanks

Be very carefull when applying any pressure to the walls of your scupper holes.  The plastic there isn't as robust as the side walls do to the way they're manufactured.

Have you considered one of the store bought solutions like a Scotty Baitboard?

+1 for leaving the scuppers alone.  That area is a pain to repair/deal with.  Maybe a Mighty Mount just fore of the cup holder? Attach to it an aftermarket platform (of which there are several quality options)? I think that's how I'd do it...

I wasnt goin to sand the scuppers, but the pipe going.in. but ill look at the scotty stuff. Its just expensive by the time i bbuy all the stuff. I would never alter the rigidity of the scupper

Just for clarification, it's the torque exerted by things inside the holes that causes the damage.  You can reduce this risk by ensuring that whatever is in the scuppers goes all the way thru, though this will cause some drag.

If you do go the DIY route, post up some pictures.  Everybody loves fishporn and buildporn.
