Went out kayak fishing for my first time with my Hobie Outback. Went above bonneville at eagle creek. Jig under float at mouth, casting spinners near the banks, and just used the mirage drive to hold myself while back bouncing a spin-n-glo in the deeper slots.
No fish, but I had a great time! Love the stability, room, and wow the speed was incredible! Mods include turbo fins and sailing rudder.
Weather was around 50 degrees, constant drizzle, and a solid 5-7 mph   wind blowing east.
I cannot wait to get out again.

Thanks cohoman. As someone who fishes moving to kayaks, the outback made the most sense; versus kayaker going fishing. I'm picking up so much knowledge on nwka, I just hope I can contribute also.

See you on the water.

Wool hobo gloves, an Abu, and Korker wading boots...looks like my standard fishing outfit. Now we can't fish together because we would look like a couple dorks.

Just keep at it. The day will come soon.

Great choices. Welcome to the addiction.
