Hey guys another question while I'm thinking of it what size paddle do you use? Or what size would you recommend?

Standard recommendation is to start with a 230 when on SOT's.  What budget do you have in mind?

Interesting personal story with bent shaft.  My shoulder problems were at their worse when I used a bent shaft.  I switched back to a straight shaft ~3 years ago and haven't had nearly as many shoulder problems.  YMMV.

Yup.  That was my pricing experience.  What made me go through Mark was he said he'd be responsible for any reapirs or warranty work. Obviously if the kayak was damaged in shipping, mark would deal with it.  That was worth the extra $100 to me.  Maybe if I hear a few more folks shipping them up with no issues, I will consider it.

my paddle will definitely be a Warner bent shaft to start. The few times I have paddled it is what I have used and they were amazing. 230-240 were my concerns in that department. Allen being very close to my size has registered a 230 so ill pop on that. I guess I'll spend a lot of time on the phone on Monday trying to figure out who will ship me a kayak I feel like a schoolboy on Christmas morning. My head is spinning so any details you think I need keep them coming. Any gear suggestions? Accessories?

Good choice, Werners are great paddles!
