PROS:

Rugged
Easy to open to insert phone
Solar charger to extend battery life
Easy to operate touch screen
All phone functions work
Waterproof
Rubberized grips makes it easy to hold on to

CONS:

Doesn't float
Difficult to hear phone calls/music
Pictures are grainy
Need screwdriver to open charge cover
Lanyard clip interferes with opening charge cover

The SLXtreme by Snow Lizard (http://www.snowlizardproducts.com/cases/15-slxtreme-4.html) is a great product for those that want to use their phone in all types of conditions.  The integrated battery and solar charger extends battery life significantly.  The rugged case feels sturdy and comfortable in your hand and the phone functions are easy to operate, even with gloves on.

One draw back is the case does not float.  You need to make sure the lanyard is secured either to yourself or the kayak.  I did not like the quality of the pictures taken with phone in the case.  The sound was reduced considerably even with the volume on maximum.  I was difficult to hear my phone ring.

Overall I would still recommend this product to protect your phone from the elements.
