Leaky Bow Hatch on WS Tarpon

When fishing in open water, I take quite a few waves over the bow.  It seems water is getting in through the bow hatch on my 09' Tarpon 160 SOT.  It's not a huge amount, but over time it does add up.  Has anyone else had these issues?  If so, what have you done to remedy it?

Yeah, I used to have that problem with my tarpon 160.  My gasket was missing.  Is your gasket intact?

Yes, the gasket is there, albeit not that effective.  I believe that's why more water doesn't get in.  Looking for options that may improve the situation more.  I like the rubber gasket on the middle hatch,  seems to do a lot better job of keeping the water out.  Unfortunately, the bow is a different set-up all together.

Slightly off topic, just curious: Does that year have the hard bow hatch or the soft bow hatch?

I don't know the year on mine, I just know it's an older 120, and it has the "soft" hatch. I haven't noticed any water getting in with moderate-to-light wash-over on the deck.

No, it's the Oval Orbix Hatch design.  I think 2009 models might be the first year they changed from the rubber type.

Not sure then.
