I also paddle and I like it, Vibe 130 in the past and Thresher 140 now. But honestly I have started thinking about pedals because I have found about nice and cheap Riot Mako with ocean friendly hull. Hope I can save and buy it in couple of months. Please provide any opinions if you already got it.  :)

Before I bought a 2012  Trident 13, I was seriously looking at the Mako12,  but I couldn't find reliable references.  On Amazon there are a few product reviews,  but they mostly complain about shipping damage.  At least one of these Amazon buyers has a few short videos on Youtube. 


You might a search at NCKA.  IIRC,  one of their members had recently bought a M12.  I'm not sure if this buyer has commented on the yaks performance. 


I agree that the M12 has a seaworthy-looking hull design.  I just wish there were reviews.
