Ocean Kayak Prowler 13T for sale - $700 (Anchorage, AK)

Prowler 13T sit-on-top fishing kayak. Bought new in summer 2012. This kayak has excellent glide and stability, huge under-deck storage capacity, and six self-bailing scuppers. One of the scuppers is designed for mounting a fish finder transducer (Humminbird fish finders are made by the same company that owns Ocean Kayak and they make a transducer that is perfect for this kayak).

 Length is roughly 13 ½ feet. Weight about 50 pounds.

 Factory installed rod holders; Sonar Shield fish finder compartment; bow hatch has fish finder battery pouch; center hatch allows easy below-deck storage of spare paddles and fishing rods; adjustable foot pegs; comfortable clip-in seat. High visibility yellow.

 I’ve fished Valdez, Whittier and Seward for salmon, paddled to Portage Glacier, and fished just about every lake from Anchorage to Byers to Tangle Lakes in this kayak. I never installed a rudder because this thing tracks beautifully without one, but it’s pre-drilled for mounting a rudder.

 Moving to lower 48 this spring, so I’m going to have to let the kayak go. $700.
