Daaamn... look who's back from the dead! You need to use your kayak sometime to need a drysuit Chris!
Yeah...what's up Chris...last time I saw you was Westport last year.
Chris has been looking for a drysuit for a long time.

Well this kayak fishing is like most my other interest if I spend more money buying stuff in support of the hobby I might do it more.

I am still very interested hopefully it will be close to the price from this other post, posted today
Kayak Angler reporting a new manufacturer offering a drysuit for $225, or one with a relief zipper for $100 more.

http://www.rapidmedia.com/kayak-fishing/categories/gear/item/2551-fresh-catch-mythic-gear-drysuits.html

Since $225 is about the amount you'd pay for a good wetsuit, the barrier to getting into a drysuit seems quite a bit lower than it used to.

I really appreciate what the company says about their product and what they're trying to do. I have no idea if it will end up being a quality piece of gear or not but I appreciate the way they're thinking about the market.

Seriously doubt it'll be that cheap.  I figure $500-ish is probably the bottom end.  Hydrus Angler suits retail at $609, and taking the ODP 15-20% typical coupon, but adding in the custom logos I have a hard time seeing the price much if any lower than that.

I was just getting ready to purchase from Outdoor Play TODAY... they are offering them at 15% off Do you have any price info on this offer ??

Pricing should be finalized by this coming Friday (if not earlier). Please bare with me as I get the last bits of this finalized.

I've been looking into getting this going for a while. I couldn't help but make the announcement, since we're finally at that tipping point where it can become a reality.

Hey Langcod----any up-dates on the drysuits ? Seems like there is enough interest.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I was expecting to have the pricing finalized today but unfortunately it's more likely that it will be Monday or Tuesday.

This will be my first drysuit.  Can you recommend a Portland area distributor that can take my measurements??

Langston,
Either color? Am thinking that white will be perfect with the graphics.

Snarf,
KoKaTat has a easy guide on their website. Have your wife use a seamstress tape and follow the directions. Measurements might surprise you.
