Kayak Shed is planning a bass tournament with some sweet prizes (think plastic). We were planning on the 17th but want to know what weekend would work better for the majority of folks.

So interested, that would be amazing, unfortunately signed up for overtime at work already. Wish I would have known sooner. Count me in for the next one for sure!  The first weekend that would work for me is the weekend of the 30th.

Am I the only one unsure of which month to reference?
My wife thinks fishing is merely guys wandering around like idiots swinging sticks in the air. Many of my trips prove how smart she really is.

That just made the 31st a conundrum.

Actually, I don't want it to be the holiday weekend. Too many other people are on the water that weekend and they hog all of the camping spots.

Since this is hosted by the Kayak Shed can we assume that base camp will be Hood River or somewhere really close to that?

May 17th is GS8 IIRC (http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=13357a1853720365e922452724b0883c&topic=52177.0).

May 24th the Clackamas River impoundments open, also busy holiday as everyone has mentioned.

So I voted for the 24th because I'm local enough to make it a day trip, but on second thought I think the 31st is the best option.
