Wow...cool!  I am in touch with the reporter. Sometime before of after the derby, she has said she will do a feature on the kayak team. Just a little more pressure to A) do it safely. B) catch a fish!!  Should be good!!  A quick update on the organization thread.

Lol!  Love the attitude. If we can land a fish, it should have as good a chance as any. If we fish 6 rods, we should have a better chance than most individual boats!!!! C'mon team NWKA!!!!!

Dad is out of surgery. All looks good. Booked a flt back for Sunday for me so hopefully there will be no complications.

Next week is going to be a potential life changing week in so many ways!  Maybe it'll happen maybe it won't. But things are starting to look up!!! Woohoo!!!!

We have Uuqutiiq fishing with us, brother! When she isn't catching, she serves as a good luck charm to those fishing with her!

Just fielded a call from the Homer News (different than the Honer Tribune) The reporter also writes for the Peninsula Clarion. Glad to see there is interest in our kayaking group. Pressure is on!!!  And dang it I just seriously twisted my ankle. Feels ok after a half hour but it better not be too bad tomorrow. Still got a week!!  Argh!!!! Lol.

That's good about the good luck charm!!! I really want to show these folks we aren't just a novelty!!!
