I would assume like this Craig

Actually this years ORC is even better then that.
The winner of this years ORC will not only win a brand new Hobie valued at $2000, but will also win 1 of 5 spots to join Team North America in Amsterdam. If this winner chooses to go to the "Worlds", ORC will cover $1000 of the anglers airfare to Europe.

....Saun said he hadn't talked to anyone about the event yet so he didn't know what the discount would be but said he would adjust the total price after they got it figured out..

Weird, because I gave them a call as a heads up about the event a couple of weeks ago.   ::)

That's why I asked, every year we get different results depending on who answers the phone.

Damn.  I might have to skip a couple classes if that's the case!  I'll let y'all know how the fishing in Netherlands works out  >:D.

Alright, I'm committed to this one too. If I compete in 3 tourneys I have 3x chance of winning a new kayak, right?  ???  (there's some fishing logic for you)

And I'll ask the same question I ask in every tourney thread: are tandems allowed? (Assuming 2x entry fees and each person obeys the rules, etc.)

The winner a few years ago, BlueWRX IIRC won the ORC with his tandem and a buddy aboard.

Lol Ou used his tandem and had his fish sittin in the front and I used my outback, but Lee and Marie did fish tandem during the salmon one in puget sound.  If you land the fish yourself and keep it separate I don't see an issue!

Sweet. Even though I know my wife will probably outfish me it'll be fun competing with her. That 10lb cab last fall wasn't enough for her... look out boys!

Usually the deal is you have to hook and net it yourself.  I've also seen something like "power yourself to and from the launch" and my wife pedals sometimes, but I do most of the work as her hip starts aching after about 20 minutes.  Prior to her hip stuff we always used separate boats, and she still outfished me.

Just made reservations at Chinook Bend.  They told us that they are going to do a discount, they just don't know how much yet.
