My name is Del.  I live down in Keizer by Salem.  I work up near Portland.  I just bought a kayak and I'm looking forward to meeting up with fellow fisherman on the river.  I will need a lot of pointers.  Thanks in advance for all the help.

Del,
Welcome to the forum!  There are a ton of great folks who are happy to help you get out there and get some fish in that boat.

Welcome Del. You found the right place for all the pointers you will ever need.

What kind of Kayak do you have?
See ya on the water..

Welcome Del, let me know when you want to go fishing.  I'm in south Salem and always looking for people to go fishing with.  Know of any good spots around here?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.  I dove in head first a bought a Hobie Pro angler 14'.  I weigh about 250 lbs so I needed a bigger platform.  I like it a lot so far!
