Thinking for the back half of September.  Calm seas ...

Targeting rockfish/lings and/or salmon in the river.

This might be a tough one for me to make. I'll be back from Moutcha on the 1st and off to BAM on the 30th. 13-14 woks best so far.

I did the same as Roy.
given enough ahead of time notice,  I can make any day work for me.
maybe ya wanna remove our votes Pole? Just to get an accurate time frame for those who it matters to.

My kayak is pretty small, I'm sure you can fit it on your rack as you swing through Portland.

Looking forward to a big meet up on the water.  Let's get a date set soon so we can start planning (campsite, tourney format, launch & weigh in sites, pot luck, etc).

BTW, does anyone know anything about camping in/around Pacific City?  The only campground I can find is an RV park that charges $25/night for tents and has only 10 tent spots at the back of the campground.

As for state parks, Cape Lookout seems to have camping and even group tent camping.  But it's 15 mi north of Pacific City.

My personal preference is the 20-21.  The major rational is that Moutcha is last weekend in August and waiting 3 weeks to settle down after that (and recover GAF) might be a good thing.  For the 2 of you that voted Sept 13-14 ... do you have any objections to the 20-21?  If not, let's set 20-21 as the date.

I voted 13-14 thinking we'd end up in Coosbay but I can probably make the 20-21 in Pacific City.

Mark, I think you can change your vote (remove vote and then revote).  Then again maybe that's one of those moderator things.

Everyone should be able to change their own votes.
