Will be heading down to the cape again this Wednesday if anyone wants to join in.  Conditions look great all day.  I'll be there at about 6:30.  Sand colored T-15.  I usually have my radio turned off/down, but let's say channel 71.

(Spring Chinook are still a week or so out, but may bring salmon gear to troll after some ling/bass action)

See ya out there!

Keep an eyes on the Weather forecast.
The other side of Pacific ocean just reported about the Earth Quake. 6.4 Lit in Japan and some other countries. I don't know if it may effect here. If it's looking I'm sure I will be down there

It was a great day at the coast w lots of fish around; the drift was a bit much at times even though the wind was moderate.  Combo of wind and current kept pushing me North.  Lots of Lings and tons of bass.  Dory boat next to me connected with a decent halibut, but a day too early for him.  No action shots, just the end result.

Hopefully more good days ahead!

Yes the landing was brutal, I ended up rolling over in a few feet of water.  I wish that I had a camera so that you all had something to laugh at.  However it was a good oppurtunity to test the dry gear, I use waders and a dry top and they worked great.  I just got a little water in around my waste but that was it.  I was fully submerged for a second or two and ended up swimming back to shore.   I had my cell phone zipped in my dry top pocket and it survived as well, not even a drop in there.  My gear even survived the roll, the only casualty was a gator ade that wasn't tied down.  Other than that, it was a great day, lots of bass and one small ling, but I had a great time.  Something I noticed, I tried jigging off the bottom for the first hour and didn't get a single bite, it wasn't untill I started trolling around that I started catching fish.  They seemed to be suspended around 40 to 50 feet of water.  Here are a few pics.  Nothing extroardinary but it was a lot of fun, thanks Onefish for the invite.
