Well the season is here, and this year it came early for the cold water in lake keechleuse. Went out last night and slayed the kokanee 10 fish in about an hour and a half. The fish are bigger than normal and sitting in about 40ft of water and are suspended in huge schools at  15-20ft. Huge for this cold water lake are 14in but with a limit of 15 you can keep the smoker going strong also caught 4 cutthroat in the range of 14-20in throwing a castmaster to and from the trolling grounds. So if you want to catch some fish and can handle the 45deg. Air temp send me a message and I can show you where you can bag your limit of 17 fish in a few hours. Sorry no pics fishing was to good, will try to take some tonight.

Nice! Where do you put in? I'm itching to get some of those kokanee. I'm in Fall City so pretty close, although I'll be hitting the Sound in the next couple of weekends for lings. I'd love to hit up that spot and check it out.

Yesterday was pretty slow the lake got murky from alge bloom. But it should get better in the next week as the water is warming up. Will keep you and others posted. Although the cutthroat fishing was great.
