If you're talking to me, thanks.  I tie some clouser style with big lead eyes, but they snag up a lot more than the deer heads.  When you're talking ~ $10/fly, it's painful.

Oh and I fish for lings in ~40 ft of water here in PS.

Bottom fish on the fly is damn good fun. Most of the time my problem is getting down to when they hold, so Deer hair headed fly are not in my arsenal. I got to hook up with you guys!

9wt with a lamson konic 4 has done the job on a 30"" for me. I'm looking forward to this season! Maybe well have to have a fly section at the ORC...

I am using a Beulah 9/10 surf fly rod with 15ft. of T-20 attach to a 100ft. of running line. Soon to up grade to 30ft. of T-20.
