Looking like i'll be haulin my kids, and my nieces to hagg lake Monday to try to get the lot of them on some fish.  anyone else is welcome to come - the focus of the day will be kids though, so bring your kids/grandkids and get em on some fish.  hopefully i'll be able to keep my crew cycled through fast enough they don't get bored and all get to reel up a fish.

I've only fished hagg once and launched out of the boat ramp on the west side - what would be the best place to set-up base camp for a small army of 5yr olds?  somewhere to grill up some hotdogs, and have a picnic table would be awesome!

Sounds like fun! I'm headed to Bend, or I'd try to make it. Good luck!

The Sain Creek Picinic Area on the west side can be a nice alternative to the boat ramps for kayaks but I'm guessing all of the pavilions with grills and tables have already been reserved at this point.

Launch at A (go EARLY) and head up the adjacent cove to the west. Those weeds are  full of yellow perch. Fun on a Barbie pole for sure; the kids will love it. Tiny little crankbait will get you 30-40 fish/hour.
