Compact anchor system

I've never had a problem with it binding. I do pull it in by hand especially with the heavier anchors.  The lighter ones I just reel in. Once I separated the float from the reel, it was easier to work.

One thing I should say. Unless you are very strong, it is very difficult to spool in a heavy anchor. The reel is more for storage and deployment.  I usually haul it in 4 or 5 pulls, reel in the line and then repeat.
