Video: Springer near Portland

Here's some Springer video from a few weeks ago. Check out the Summer Steelhead in the background about the halfway point as it jumps out of the water 5 times. I had noticed a passing sea lion not long before, so wondering if the Steelhead was jumping to try and escape.
We had a few solid weeks of Springer action, but this years current Willamette return of only 22,000 fish passing over the OC falls to date is far below the 58,000 expected by June 30.

Thanks for sharing Michael - another beautiful springer!

Been a couple weeks since I was down there, hoping to get out one more time later this week.  With school out and baseball done, my son's been asking to get out on the water.  So, even with the small number of fish going through, looking forward to getting out there with him.
