ORC 2014 Spaghetti Feed Friday and Breakfast Burritos Sunday

Besides the contribution stuff for Saturday potluck, that only leaves Saturday- tourney morning to bring something to eat. I'm having a big bowl of oatmeal. Its already packed in 1 sandwich baggie with a little brown sugar and raisins. Just need to heat some hot water for that and coffee. How's that for a packing list?

Speaking of COFFEE. Our homies over at Interstate Special Events hooked us up with a 100 cup coffee maker. Could easily be fired up for Saturday morning too if someone who wasn't going out early made sure it was taken care of after the masses head to the ramp.

Things are coming together nicely for this. I just got a bunch of bamboo flatware donated to us because spaghetti on plastic forks is challenging. Shameless bump for visibility. That is all, see you Friday.

So I spent the last couple of days running around returning items that were left over and getting refunds, but the preliminary numbers show we cleared over $900 after all was said and done on the 2 meals and the auction items! 

It's always a pleasure serving our Veterans and it was a pleasure serving you all that make it possible for us to serve our Veterans. We'll take support from almost anywhere, but when it comes from the kayak fishing community it carries weight.

My apologies for dinner being tardy, and thanks to Lee and Marie and Craig and Nate and everybody else who pitched in on this effort. Next year Dino will be back, we'll do a joint venture and things will run more smoothly.
