I'm a Hawaii transplant and have lived in Washington for eight years now and still haven't adjusted to the fishing style.  Combat fishing is what drove me to try kayak fishing.  Buddy of mine told me about this site a while back... in nut shell, didn't have the moolah to buy what I wanted but, I finally made the plunge and got myself a Pro Angler.  I love it a lot!!  No more combat fishing for me.

I've read numerous posts here on the site and realized that kayak fishing is so much more than a hook, line and sinker.  I'm still trying to figure how things work.  I've caught Pinks, Trout, Flatfish and Dungeness crabs but Coho and King's is what I'm trying to target this year.

I'm open to learn from you all and I appreciate all the nuggets of wisdom that is already being shared here on NWKA!!

See you all on the water!!  As we say in Hawaii, "Hanapa'a" (Fish on!!)

Much mahalo,
Mark
