Here it is! I also added this document to the original post in Official ORC Announcement thread.

NOTE!
You must have this sheet filled out, turned in, AND you must receive a tournament chip before you launch on the morning of the tournament or you are simply fishing for the sake of your freezer.

This form will be available at Chinook Bend Campground Friday evening.

I have no problem with item 1.  Heck, most times I go kayak fishing I sustain emotional injury, unless I limit out.  :-)

This is an interesting topic.  I have no problem with abiding by rules, rules are important for the sake of safety and order.  I detest having to make rules to keep one another honest and prevent cheating.  Have we reached such a state that we are forced to presume that someone will inevitably try to cheat?  It seems so based on past experience and as a result we are also forced to develop rules and methods to prevent it.  In this case a special chip shall be issued to each participant which must be included in a photograph or video of their catch, just to keep us  "honest".  There is no honor or satisfaction in cheating.     :police:

For those of us not staying at the camp ground will there be someone at the boat ramp that can receive the weiver and give "chips" to the participants if not who's tent or trailer are we knocking on at 5 am?

Shannon----there will be someone manning a station to the right of the boat launch at Depoe Bay on Saturday morning. Look for someone holding a handful of sign-up sheets in their hand. Should be there for a few hours that day. I'll try to find you and hook you up with them.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Perhaps I missed it, but where does anything say anything about taking a pic with the chip in it.  We've had a chip as part of ORC for a long time now.  It's just a means of identifying you.  "Hi, I'm participant number 44, here's my fish for weigh in".  Then when drawings are done, "Number 35, you just won a brand new car!".

Thanks for the lecture, but it seems an important point was missed that I should have clarified.  The chip is first and foremost for making sure everyone is accounted for who has signed into the tournament.  If the tournament is over and you have not turned in your chip, someone will be calling the contact number or sending out a search team to look for you.  The chip system also makes it easy to know which fish belongs to which entrant.

A picture with your fish and your tournament fish will not count as an entry for the tournament!  You must kill your fish and bring it to the weigh-in station with your chip for it to count.

I think Rawfish meant to type "A picture with your fish and your tournament chip will not count as an entry for the tournament!"

Am I right?

So in short that would mean no "Fish n Chips" photos will be accepted at the weigh in station.
It would be kinda hard to judge the weight of a fish in a picture.  ::)

Note:
The Princess Rod contest specifically states "Photographic evidence or a witness is required to verify your catch." But, this isn't required to win the Hobie part of the tourney, just a few bucks and some manly bragging rights.
