Pre ORC Shopping

I'll be coming through the Portland area on my way to ORC on Thursday.  I was wondering if I could get suggestions on where to buy jigs and tackle for ORC.  I'll be towing my camp trailer and am hoping there's a location that would be easy to get my trailer in and out and park.

Stickrod's in Otis just before you reach Lincoln City. I went in there before last year's ORC and they have a well stocked shop. Young family proprietors with good local knowledge.

Fishermans marine in delta park, right off I5 in Portland. They generally have a good selection and is right off the freeway with plenty of parking. If all else fails the shell station at the entrance to Depoe bay has a good selection also.

Revjcp will be selling Lancer Jigs at the Chinook Bend campground.

+1 stopping in Otis, not sure about Stickrods but I know the Otis Cafe' can't be beat.  I stop there every trip and leave full and with an extra loaf of bread for camp.  DELICIOUS

Thanks for the recommendations.  We don"t have very much salt water gear in the Tri Cities.  I didn"t want to pull my camp trailer through downtown Portland.  Lol!

Does the gas station at by the launch still sell jigs?

I will have lancer jigs with me at the campground.

Mike from Hoggs Hardcore tackle will also be out at the campground selling Big Hammers and jig heads Friday night. Between the Lancer and big hammers you should be in good shape.

Yes. I was just in there Saturday and they had a pretty decent selection of bottom fishing stuff and other gear.

Fisherman's Marine in Oregon City is just as easy to get in/out of if you're going down I-205 anyway. Their plain leadhead jigs are a little overpriced IMHO but they have a decent selection, and "in bulk" grubs and swimbaits for saltwater of various sizes.
