Hey, my name is Nick. I live in Salem OR. Just recently picked up an old beat up Malibu XL tandem. I've taken out a few times but excited to get it into the ocean. If the weather/ocean is okay next monday I'll be going to pacific city to try it out. Any advice? I only have dry suits for scuba diving, and would be way to hot to paddle in, so im thinking just a wet suit? Anyone else going out this coming monday?

Wetsuit is good.  Get yourself a sports helmet to protect your head should you capsize in the surf.  Welcome to the group.
