I am on vacation this week visiting my wife in Beaverton, who is up here taking care of her mom who has terminal cancer. My wife suggested I take a day of fun in, so I am looking to go fishing. I can go the 8th , 9th or 10th. If anyone has an extra yak and gear, and a day off, I would love to go fishing. I have a WS Ride 135 at home and have been out about 20 times, I am comfortable in a yak,and weigh 240 and wear an xl pfd.. I have just started Smallmouth, Largemouth and Striper fishing, but love to fish for anything!!
Thanks for any help!!!
And if your ever in Central Ca and would like to go fishing feel free to give me a holler!!!

Welcome Badog65,

I already mentioned to you (via PM) that I don't have any days off this week, but this is a pretty good bunch of guys and I hope someone can help you out.  Henry Hagg Lake isn't too far from Beaverton and has both largemouth and smallmouth bass (including the state record) as well as plenty of stocked trout.

Good luck and I hope you make it out.

Thanks, Wali and Brian!!
Wali took me fishing on the Tualatin River , Had a great day, no fish but soon as we put in an Osprey grabbed a fish about 20 feet in front of me, Completely made my day!! Wali was a great host and was fun and interesting. The Tualatin River is very similar to the Tuolumne river in central Ca, except for the 100 degree heat!!
Portland area rocks!!!! And the people are great!!!!!
Thanks again

Dave
