hello from seattle.

i'm new to the combination of fishing and paddling.  have dabbled in both and am looking forward to combining the two.   i'm going to make my first ventures with fishing gear on a sup - a very stable entry level racer/expedition sup.  most likely down by discovery park, golden gardens, very close to ballard elks club.

my wife and i have 10 week old twin boys.  my goal in next few years is to reintroduce myself to fishing (and hunting), so i can pass the knowledge on to the boys.

i've been a flyfisherman mostly, but am familiar with other types of gear.  have a saltwater flyrod, reel and line already acquired.

would appreciate any advice folks in the area might be willing to share.   my time's for getting on the water are pretty limited at the moment, but hoping to paddle at least once a week.
