With Jammer gone I won't have to watch my bottle of Crown like a shithawk.

I might get down there REALLY early (like 430-5am) and walk the upper bay for clams and crab during the -1.0 tide. 

And then just spend the day casually padding my 'ol T-13 around the bay during the incoming tide, till we meet up around 2pm for Ron.   Company always welcome.

It's been a while since I've been down to the Netarts boat ramp.  Are they charging for parking/ramp use now?  It was rumored a while back, but I never confirmed it.

Yes! Thanks for reminding me. There is a $4 day use fee for using the boat ramp. I think there are places you can park and launch to avoid paying if you don't have the change, but that place needs the money so make sure to bing your dollars. There's a kiosk next to the ramp with yellow envelopes. Bring a pen.

I am so sorry I can't make this event. Ron was an awesome guy that taught me a lot and like you guys, I am going to miss him.  It is my dad's 84th birthday tomorrow and we have plans with him and the rest of my family.

It was a really moving day. He will be missed.

Would have liked to been there,  but my wife needed me with her for her grandpa's memorial service today
