Arrived to Herman Creek bright & early at sunrise, along with fifty other fisherman. I went in focusing on perfect bait & perfect presentation. I thought I had those down but never paid off for me cause only thing I caught was a nice sun burn. I saw two fish hooked before I left at 1pm, one beauty on same to rig as me & the other was on a wet fly over the weeds. None the less a beautiful day, not sure why I could have done different.

"You are killing me, fish, the old man thought. But you have a right to. Never have I seen a greater, or more beautiful, or a calmer or more noble thing than you, brother."
-The Old Man and the Sea
