The wife and I got the Revolutions out for the first time.  First time ever in a Kayak.  It was a lot more fun than  the inflatable.  Went to Birch Bay.  Put out 3 crab pots.  Came back to shore and was reading the oyster and clam no eat sign red tide then noticed it said crabbing closed.  No wonderer only my pots were out there.  Wnet out and retrieved the pots.  One was empty.  The other two had several crab and a few keepers if it wasn't closed.  That would have been a nice haul for probably an hour in the water.  Let the crabs go and pulled the pots.  Lucky no ticket by the crab police.  Could have sworn it said it was open the last time I looked on line probably a day or two earlier.  Sign sid it will open or re-open on August 15th, but I'll stick closer to home here at Alki.

Tried my new fish finder (Lowrance Mark 4 HDI).  I must not have it set right when I was in 2' of water it showed 25'.  Plus, I couldn't get it out of demo mode..   Guess I'll  have to read the instructions
