I couldn't agree more.
Awesome day, coho, crabs, and black rockfish.
Early in the day the water was like glass.
Caught everything SW of the rock in about 100 FOW.

  Is the entire Oregon coast closing to salmon?

  If so -- a lot of salties will probably be hitting the Colombia River. Look for the big crowds very soon.
