I'm the angler formally known as ravdakot, but as of this week have taken a new alias.

Polyethylene: A polymer of ethylene; especially : any of various partially crystalline lightweight thermoplastics (CH2CH2)x that are resistant to chemicals and moisture, have good insulating properties (The plastic used in rotomolded kayaks)

Angler: A person who enjoys fishing.

Polyangler: A person who chooses to do it from a kayak.

Come join me on Facebook to share in the adventures of friends, and family as we fish and hunt from kayaks primarily in the great state of Washington. I will also be sharing gear reviews, fishing reports, how-to's, rigging, recipes, and more!

I would like to welcome you and encourage you to get a drysuit... a vhf radio... do lots of self rescue... purchase a high quality great white shark rape whistle (I think fungunnin sells those)... cram lots of pool noodles in the hull of your kayak... remember that polepole pays 3 months of your auto insurance if you can pronounce his screen name correctly without help.  Welcome to the forum.

You guys are funny.

Dick, nice name change. Looks  like there is another underlying theme there along the lines of the YakBum theory...
